I bought this (1) piece of wire B&S part # = 790544 to make the alternator work for NEWER briggs engines this is a TOTAL RIP OFF, there is NO WAY it should cost $20.oo + dollars..yes it works,I seriously doubt it cost .50 cents to make & package.& you still have to jury rig the rest of the wiring to start the engine.this $20.oo wire is only Part of the change over from older engines to the newer model (same engine #.)very discusted,in southern va.
